It is one of the greatest monuments in Kołobrzeg, full of rich and turbulent history dating back to the 13th century. During the battle of Kołobrzeg in 1945 it had a defensive function. In 1979 it was restored to its original purpose as a Collegiate church. There are many valuable artifacts inside the five-nave architectural the structure including four-eter high, seven-arm bronze candelabra from 16th century.
The tower of the Collegiate church has meter and observation deck with magnificent views of Kołobrzeg.
